Welcome to my classroom! I’m an elementary general music teacher AND a low-key teacher tech junkie. #ExcelObsessed 😄

I am also a band mom (of two amazing brass-playing girls) and a band wife to a hard-working, dedicated high school band director. We met and fell in love in our college marching band and the rest is history!

The life of a music teacher can be lonely sometimes. Most likely, there’s not another music teacher on your campus so there’s no one who understands your unique problems and dilemmas. Our schedules (both school and home) are so packed that there’s very little time to sit and talk with our music teacher colleagues.

I started sharing my teacher life online as a way to give other music teachers a glimpse into my classroom and provide a space where we can share with each other…our joys, our difficulties, our hilarious student stories, or anything else! In my 15+ years of teaching I’ve learned a lot and made PLENTY of mistakes…like thousands. I want to share what I’ve learned with you in the hopes that it makes your teacher life easier and a little less lonely!
